Privacy policy

• The city, state or region, and country that orders shipped to, combined with every other order to the same city.
• Order dates and item quantities, sale amounts, and the titles of the best-selling listings, which are already public on eBay.
• Map positions at the center of a postal code or city, rounded to about 1 km. Never a street address.

Buyer names, eBay usernames, email addresses, phone numbers, street addresses and order numbers are never published and never saved.

• The seller connects their own eBay account with read-only access to their order information (eBay’s sell.fulfillment.readonly permission). The app cannot change listings, orders, messages or account settings.
• Orders are downloaded to the seller’s own computer, reduced to city-level totals, and then discarded. Full order records are not stored anywhere.
• To count repeat buyers, usernames are turned into a one-way code in memory while the totals are calculated. Only the final count is kept.
• Postal codes are matched to map locations offline using GeoNames data. No buyer information is sent to a mapping service.

There are no accounts, cookies, analytics or ads. The site is hosted on Vercel, which keeps standard server logs (such as IP address and browser type) to run and protect the service. See Vercel’s privacy policy.

The seller can withdraw this app’s access to their eBay account at any time from their eBay account settings. Doing so stops any further updates to the map.
